AGRIOLEFKES SKI CENTRE - MOUNT PELION

Winter time in Pelion is just as popular as any time during the summer months.

The reason is that the famous "Agriolefkes" ski centre of Pelion is open and in full operation.

The Agriolefkes ski centre is just 12km from the village of Portaria, and 27km from Volos. Portaria is an ideal village to visit and find accommodation whilst you are in Pelion to hit the slopes.

The views from here are simply breath-taking, and you will never find another ski centre quite like this one, in terms of the naturally beautiful position in which it is located.

There are several ski slopes here that combine to make a total length of 5000 meters. For those who are new to ski, there is a beginners slope and also a ski school where you can take lessons.

As well as ski, there are several other winter sports that take place here, such as snowboarding and mountain artillery ski.
